This page is not a 120-song dump. EA already printed the full list on ea.com. Spotify hosts the official playlist and the Ultimate Mix of older FC and FIFA menu tracks. Use those for the complete catalogue. What follows is the short version: who is on it, where it plays, how district mixes work, and why a soundtrack article is not a Title Update.

What the 10 September article actually said

EA framed the soundtrack as more than twenty years of music discovery for The World’s Game. Steve Schnur, president of music and marketing for EA games, called the series soundtrack an international institution built over the past 20 years. That is press language, but it is also why people search this page in the same week they search Web App times: the playlist is the cultural trailer for a football year that has not started in the client yet.

The mix splits three ways. Established names sit next to emerging acts, and a handful of unreleased songs land in the game before they sit on a regular album cycle. None of that is a patch. None of it is a PlayStyle. If a thumbnail claims the soundtrack buffs atmosphere in Clubs, ignore it. Audio settings and licensed music do not move defending, corners, or AcceleRATE.

You can listen before you own the game. That is the whole point of posting the playlist eight days before Ultimate early access. Favourite the tracks you actually like, then stop treating a 120-song press list as homework.

Established names worth knowing

EA named Interpol, The Neighbourhood, The Strokes, The War on Drugs, Royal Blood, Nia Archives, Chase & Status, Little Simz, and Barry Can’t Swim as the headline familiar acts.

Track titles that will actually come out of menu speakers include Interpol’s “See Out Loud”, The Neighbourhood’s “Red Flag”, The Strokes’ “Lonely in the Future”, The War on Drugs’ “Who’s That”, Royal Blood’s “Dead Company”, Nia Archives’ “Vertical”, Chase & Status with Little Simz on “Carnage”, and Barry Can’t Swim’s “Dance Dance Dance”. Those are highlights, not a ranked list. If you only remember four, remember The Strokes, Interpol, Royal Blood, and the Chase & Status / Little Simz collab — they are the names people will quote in Discord the first night of early access.

Other recognisable credits on the official sheet include Joji (“Last of a Dying Breed”), Bonobo (“Drift”), Cypress Hill featuring Poe Leos (“Run”), Anderson .Paak with Steel Beans (“Too On”), Shygirl (“Alyse”), and Angèle with Fcukers and Justice on “What You Want (Fcukers Remix)”. Emerging acts EA wanted you to notice

The same article called out The Itch, Sycco, Bruvvy, Temper City, bed, and Rose Gray as the emerging stack. Official titles: The Itch “No More Sprechgesang”, Sycco “Look Up”, Bruvvy “Little Shiva”, Temper City “Self Aware”, bed “Detoroito”, Rose Gray “Blink Twice”. The point of this half of the list is discovery, the same job older FIFA soundtracks used to do for bands you had not heard on the radio. If you care about that, listen on Spotify before 18 September so the menus are not the first time you hear them.

Unreleased cuts

Cage The Elephant’s “Dying In Reverse” is the named unreleased rock single. The band said they were glad a brand-new song could debut on an FC soundtrack. Mura Masa is the other named unreleased act; the official list prints “My Generation”. Sayf’s “TOP OF THE POPS (Red Bull 64 Bars)” sits beside those as a featured cut rather than a menu afterthought. EA said there are more unreleased gems beyond those names. It did not ask wikis to reprint every credit.

Do not treat an unreleased tag as a secret playlist inside the game. If it is on the official 120, it is on the Spotify playlist with the rest.

EA posted the FC 27 soundtrack playlist on Spotify on 10 September 2026. That is the complete current-year list. Players who want older menu songs should open the Ultimate Mix playlist, also on Spotify, which pulls iconic tracks from past FC and FIFA soundtracks. EA pointed at both in the same paragraph on purpose: one playlist for this year, one for nostalgia.

The Grounds has its own music

Music also plays a larger role inside The Grounds, the current-gen social hub. Three districts carry curated soundtracks that match their cultures:

• Parkside — suburban Britain, grass pitches, UK identity.
• Montclair — French urban cages and Paris energy.
• Zeiza — Argentine street football, Buenos Aires potrero tone.

Those district mixes are not a fourth FUT mode. They are atmosphere while you walk the Terrace, queue Kickabouts, or sit in the Clubhouse. The Grounds, including Clubs, still runs only on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Nintendo Switch 2. Last-gen owners hear the regular menu soundtrack in Kick-Off, Career, and Ultimate Team; they do not walk those districts.

If you are buying hardware for Clubs, confirm that split on Getting Started before you assume you will hear the Zeiza mix on a PlayStation 4.

Where you will hear it, and where you will not

Expect the 120 in menus, broadcast beds, and social spaces. Competitive matches, Career sliders, and Authentic Gameplay 2.0 do not change because a Strokes song is playing. Turn music down if you need crowd and referee. Turn it up if you are idling in Ultimate Team menus on 18 September.
