EA SPORTS FC 27 FC 27 Web App and Companion

The FC 27 Ultimate Team Web App and Companion App are the pre-client tools for Football Ultimate Team. They are not the full game, and they are not a substitute for 11v11. As of mid-September 2026, EA has not officially confirmed Web App or Companion login dates. The windows below are expected, based on every recent FC cycle, not a locked Pitch Notes timestamp.

Worldwide launch is still 25 September 2026. Ultimate and Ultimate Plus early access still begins 18 September 2026. If the usual pattern holds, the apps open a couple of days before that client so eligible clubs can pack, list, and finish menu work before anyone queues an online match. Online multiplayer exists in the full game; it does not exist in these apps.

Do not schedule a pack-opening stream around an unofficial minute. If EA posts a different hour, the official post wins. Community countdowns are a pattern, not a storefront clock.

Web App versus Companion

The Web App is the browser client. You sign in through EA’s official Ultimate Team web host on a computer. Historically that is an ea.com Ultimate Team address, not a random search result and not a Discord hyperlink.

The Companion App is the iOS and Android mobile client. Same EA account, same club, same restrictions. It is not a second economy and not a different set of pack odds. It is a phone-sized Web App with notifications, so you can submit an SBC on a train without installing the Frostbite client.

Neither app is Kick-Off, Career, or The Grounds. You use them to manage Football Ultimate Team when you are away from the console or PC. You still play matches — including online multiplayer and local split-screen — in the full game from 18 September (paid early access) or 25 September (everyone else).

Typical eligibility

EA had not published a unique FC 27 eligibility FAQ when this page was written. Recent cycles used a consistent gate:

1. You created an Ultimate Team club in FC 26 before 1 August 2026.
2. The account is in good standing — not banned, not locked out of packs or the transfer market in a way that blocks app access.
3. You sign in with the same EA account and platform identity that owns that FC 26 club.

New accounts, and players who never opened FUT in FC 26, usually wait for the full client. Making a throwaway club after 1 August has not historically unlocked the early Web App. If EA posts a different cutoff, that text wins.

Platform identity is not Dual Entitlement. A PlayStation club does not appear on a brand-new Steam login. Dual entitlement can move a console family (PlayStation 4 to PlayStation 5, Xbox One to Series) at no extra cost; it does not merge two EA IDs. If you switched platform over the summer, assume you are starting a new FUT club unless EA’s own login screen shows the old one.

What you can do — and what you cannot

When the apps are live, expect menu FUT, not football:

• Open packs you already hold, including some pre-order and edition grants once they hit the club.
• Check pre-order FUT items: the 85+ International ICON if your edition included it, and Ultimate Plus Hall of FUT picks. Confirm SKU extras on editions.
• Build squads and save tactics.
• Complete SBCs and Evolutions that do not require a match.
• Work objectives that are menu-based (log in, submit an SBC, apply an Evo). Match objectives wait for the client.
• Use the Transfer Market once EA turns it on. In some years the market lagged pack opening by hours or a full day. Do not assume you can list at minute one.

You cannot:

• Play 11v11 Rivals, Champions, Squad Battles, friendlies, or any other match.
• Rely on an FC Points store inside the apps. That store is often disabled in Web App and Companion. Buying Points belongs in the platform store, and it is a real-money purchase, not an app feature.
• Start early access, the EA Play 10-hour timer, or Lite. Those clocks belong to the full client.

Gallery sets, Campaign Hub, Evolution Pathways, and streamlined SBCs are still the mode. The apps are a remote control. Do not dump every gold into the first cheap SBC before you have read Ultimate Team. A card you list on 16 September is the same card you will take into online multiplayer on 18 September — the apps just let you prepare the club.

First Team of the Week

In recent FC years the first Team of the Week has dropped with the Web App, not with the 18 September client. Expect that pattern again unless EA says otherwise: in-form items appear while you are still packing in a browser. That is why people sit on the Web App instead of waiting for the full game.

TOTW items are FUT specials. They are not Career Dynamic OVR, and they are not a Kick-Off promise those players stay that overall. If you pack one, think chemistry and Gallery grade, then decide whether to list before the transfer market even opens.

FC 26 Web App going dark

Historically the previous year’s Web App goes offline about a week before the new one. If the FC 26 app is already unreachable in mid-September, that is the cycle, not a ban. Do not chase “FC 26 Web App login” ads when EA has taken the old host down. Bookmarks from 2025 will 404; that is expected.

Promo strings, if any exist, belong on Codes. There is no Roblox-style global redeem list. A page that asks you to type SAVE50 into a fake web app is not EA.

Scam warning: never log in on fake Web App URLs

The scam is always the same. A tweet, Discord server, or YouTube description links a lookalike domain. The page clones the EA login. You type email, password, and often a two-factor code. The club is emptied within minutes.

Rules that actually work:

• Type the address yourself from EA’s official FC 27 or Ultimate Team pages, or install Companion only from the App Store or Google Play.
• Do not tap “Web App” in a comment section or a giveaway post.
• EA support will not direct-message you a login link.
• If a site asks you to “verify” by packing, sending coins, or paying a fee, close it.

If you already typed a password on a clone, change the EA account password, revoke sessions, and contact EA Help. Then come back to FUT only after the account is stable. No unofficial wiki can restore a stolen club.

How to spend 16–18 September if the expected window holds

Around 16 September — Web App. Confirm you can sign in. Skip third-party Points sellers. Open untradeable packs if you want SBC fodder; leave tradeable packs closed until you know which league sets you will grade. Check whether pre-order FUT items landed. Start one SBC you understand.

Around 17 September — Companion. Install the official iOS or Android app so you can finish menu objectives away from the desk. Same club. Do not double-list the same item from two devices.

18 September — full client. This is when you play. Online multiplayer, Kick-Off, Career, and The Grounds (on supported hardware) live here. The apps stay useful for SBCs during the day; they do not replace the match engine. Worldwide launch on 25 September still brings Standard and Lite into the same FUT economy.

If EA slips the Web App to 17 September or even to early-access day, this page is not “wrong” — the dates were expected, not confirmed. Watch EA’s channels and the release timeline.
